Matron of Honor
Cecilia is the Groom's sister-in-law and the Bride's sister... think about that one for a second. Cecilia moved to Charleston about two years after the Bride where the two lived together and were able to experience Charleston to the full. Cecilia can make all things cozy and warm and has been one of Liz and James’ greatest supporters from the very beginning.
Johnny Busche
Best Man
Johnny is the Bride's brother-in-law and the Groom's older brother... don't think about it too hard;). Johnny and the Groom grew up as each other's greatest competition... nothing has changed (please note the Groom is still 2 inches taller than Johnny as of 10/17/2025). Despite this fierce battle, Johnny is also the greatest advocate for this relationship and an incredible pillar of support throughout the couple's time together.
Beth Lynch
Matron of Honor
Beth is the Bride's cousin and best friend from birth. The two grew up inseparable - always exchanging books, hiking, and camping whenever possible. Beth is Liz's favorite person to sit and have a cup of coffee with and she always knows exactly what to say and when to say it.
Brandon Hooks
Best Man
Brandon is the Groom's best friend and likely the coolest dude one could possibly meet. Brandon has always been there for the Groom since high school, where they played football and track together. He also accompanied the Groom to the Citadel where they shared the honor of both graduating from Kilo Company. Brandon is loyal to a fault and steadfast in his support... always ready to stand by those he cares about.
Tess Little
Matron of Honor
Tess is the Bride's older sister and claims to be the reason the Bride is "cool". Liz and Tess became close friends when Liz was in highschool and Tess was in college. To this day, Liz still comes to Tess for any needed fashion advice.
John Busche
Father of the Groom
John is the father of the Groom and legal "client" of the Bride. John has been, and also will be, the man the Groom attempts to emulate. He is the most hardworking, resilient, and loving father a man could ask for, and the Groom feels unimaginably lucky to be one of his kids. John is also, from the beginning, the biggest supporter of Liz and has "called" this marriage for well over 2 years now.
Margaret Valentine
Matron of Honor
Margaret is the Bride's childhood best friend. The two have spent years spiking up their parents' phone bills and asking for weekend playdates. The two grew up singing way too loud at country concerts and tag teaming babysitting jobs together. Some of the Bride’s best memories involve the misadventures the two had together.
Luke Vettel
Best Man
Luke is an incredible friend to both the Groom and all of the Busche brothers. Luke and the Groom did track together in both high school and at the Citadel. He played an instrumental part in the Groom's academic success throughout college and has remained a particularly close friend to James, despite moving a few hours away. Luke is easily the most sincere, brilliant, and holy friend James has.
Mary Lademan
Bridesmaid
Mary is the Bride's oldest sister and the leader of the Lademan sisters. Mary has passed on her love of reading to all her sisters, but especially the Bride. Liz looks up to Mary in so many ways, and she is usually the first person Liz calls when she needs serious life advice.
Michael Busche
Best Man
Michael is the little brother of the Groom. Michael and the Groom grew up mapping the 20ft-deep ditch at their parents house, riding their bikes for hundreds of miles, and shooting lizards with BB guns. He is a good time and will always be there for you, whether you need a laugh, a light, or just a liquor drink. Michael is the nicest of all the brothers and truly knows how to make anyone feel welcome. His support, alongside that of his fiancée Grace, has been invaluable to the happy couple.
Angela Lademan

Angela is the Bride's sister and is always down for doing something fun. Angela loves to dance and socialize and can captivate any audience with a story. Angela let Liz stay with her during a Covid summer where the two enjoyed Nashville life together along with lots of study and work from home days.
Gabriel Daniel
Groomsman
Gabe is the cousin of the Groom on his mother's side, but truly more of a little brother. Growing up, and despite the age difference, the Groom and Gabe were always incredibly close. You know those cousins you always try to find at family parties?... Gabe is one of those for James. Though Gabe moved away while they were still quite young, the two kept in touch via phone and the occasional visit. In March of 2025, Gabe received the sacrament of confirmation with James standing behind him as his sponsor. Gabe is known for his extraordinary family loyalty, resilience in nurturing his friendships, his incredible heart of gold, and of course, being an absolute beast on Aux.
Bridget Lademan

Bridget is the Bride's sister and one of her dearest friends. She is the most fun-loving and genuinely kind person and she is always up for a spontaneous adventure or road trip. Bridget is a Trader Joe's connoisseur and brings only the best snacks and wine to every hangout she attends.
Luke Daniel
Groomsman
Luke is the cousin of the Groom on his mother's side. He and James were thick as thieves growing up together, whether that meant gym dates, late night video game calls, or smashing All Star Specials after a late family party night. In April of 2024, James had the honor of standing behind Luke as his confirmation sponsor while he received the sacrament. Luke is one of the most mature, well spoken, charitable, and truly holy young men you will ever meet, and the Groom feels incredibly lucky to call him a 'brother' today.
Isabella McGrath
Bridesmaid
Isabella is the Groom's cousin and friend of the Bride. Liz got to know Isabella before she and James were dating and immediately loved hanging out with her. Isabella is always down for a long walk around the neighborhood, she is easy to talk to, and she genuinely cares about the people she's with.
Max Zappendorf
Groomsman
Max is the best college friend and roommate of groom throughout their time at the Citadel. Despite now living in Hawaii and the many field training exercises he does as an officer in US Army, James and Max remain very close through phone calls and care packages. Max played a crucial part, both athletically and academically, in James's college success and continues to be an incredible confidant if times call for it. There's no one the groom would rather go with to Hurricane slip n' slide, get a check from CSL Plasma, smash a 16k with rave music, or crash a 60yo+ Bachelorette party with at Bangkok Lounge, than Max. He is fiercely loyal, an incredible listener, an intense motivator and one of the most hilarious dudes you will ever meet; the groom feels blessed to have him present on his special day.
Catherine Hyland

Catherine is the Bride's friend and an honorary "older sister". She completes the Quadruplet friendship of the two Lademan sisters (Liz and Cecilia) and the two Gaetano sisters (Catherine and Margaret). The four have grown up together and still call each other regularly like they did as kids. Catherine's laugh is notorious in the Lademan household for being heard at sleepovers at 3 am and getting everyone in trouble for still being awake.
Andrew Mullen

Andrew began as a friend of Michael Busche, but has since become another little brother to the Groom. Being a Citadel Alumnus as well, Andrew and James grew close throughout their shared time in college, and on the many family vacations that which he tagged along. There truly aren't many people in this world with the loyalty, kindness, sincere concern, and empathetic nature that Andrew seems to carry naturally. He is the first person to show up in your drive if you call for help and the last one sitting by fire at night handing you 'just one last' beer. The couple feels honored to have him by their side on their special day.
Kavanagh Clark

Kavanagh is the Bride's friend from middle-school. Since the first day of 6th grade, Kav and Liz were attached at the hip. When Liz moved to Charleston, Kav was in medical school in Florida and the two took any opportunity to visit each other that they could. Kav is full of witty one liners and has the ability to remember every single inside joke from the past 15 years.
Austin Little
Groomsman
Austin is the Bride's brother-in-law and the first member of the Lademan family with whom the Groom truly got close with. Austin's witty personality and dry sense of humor easily made the Groom feel at home and welcome upon his first encounter with Liz's family. It was within the first 36 hours of meeting each other that James and Austin were found holding each other up, karaoke-ing to Cher and Creed, closing down the 2024 Lademan Thanksgiving celebration. Needless to say, the two clicked quickly and have remained close friends. The couple is extremely honored to have his support on their special day!
Miriam Miller

Miriam is the Bride's friend from College. They met at a spring soccer game freshman year and became close friends after learning that both were majoring in political science. Teachers would immediately assume something was wrong if they saw one without the other for any reason. Miriam is the friend you can call at any hour and always have a listening ear and a good laugh.
Casey Prunty
Groomsman
Casey is a college friend of the Groom and family friend to all the Busches. He and James immediately hit it off after meeting and have continued being close ever since. Though Casey began as Brandon's friend, he soon met the entire Busche family. His easy charm and quick wit earned a spot amongst us with a very interesting nickname;). From celebrating his birthday at a random CofC house, to the many concerts they've endured together, the Groom feels incredibly blessed to have the support of Casey and his lovely bride Victoria.
Lexy Smith

Lexy and the Bride met in Charleston when Liz first moved from Maryland. The two met at a party and were surprised by how many common friends they had in Virginia. Liz and Lexy spent the next few years living it up in South Carolina and eventually became roommates. Lexy is kind, energetic, and is always planning something fun.
John Lademan
Groomsman
John is the older brother of the Bride and friend of the Groom. After meeting John for the first time at a pool bar, James knew they'd get along easily. They both enjoyed hype music, a cold drink, and a fun party... that's truly just about all you need to start a solid friendship for men. John would soon assist the Groom in planning his brother's bachelor party, which went off without a hitch! Getting to know John over the past year has been a joy for James and he feels honored to have the support of his Bride's oldest brother for their special day.
Danielle Busche

Danielle is the Groom's sister and one of the first friends the Bride made when she came to visit Charleston before moving. Liz immediately liked Danielle for her genuineness, kindness, and the sound of her voice. Danielle is down to dance the night away at honkytonk or stay in for a night to watch The Office. It is all thanks to Danielle that James and Liz met and fell in love.
Thomas Lademan

Thomas is the younger brother of the Bride and friend of the Groom. Thomas and Liz were always close growing up and were often each other's running buddy or volleyball practice opponent. The two siblings even attended the same college together - Go Ravens! Thomas and James got to know each other while passing around a bottle of Jack Daniels by a bonfire and after singing Karaoke together at the Lademan family's Thanksgiving at the farm. The couple is so excited to share their big day with the best guitar player and classic rock enthusiast around.
EmmaGrace Busche

EmmaGrace is the Groom's younger sister and basically his twin. She and James are extremely close and share the same sense of humor about everything. EmmaGrace is sweet, athletic, and funny. The Bride immediately loved hanging out with her from the first time they met at an Abba Tribute Concert to now.
Jordan Lane
Groomsman
Jordan is the childhood best friend of the groom and, despite moving a few states over, continues to be an integral part of his life. With too many inside jokes to count and one incredibly embarrassing, years-old handshake, Jordan's unending support and careful advice has helped James face many challenges throughout his life. Besides his family, there is truly no other person that knows the full story of the groom like Jordan does. Although it may be months in between, a phone call with Jordan feels like going home, without a beat skipped.
Christine Venditti

Christine is a friend of the Bride. Liz met her shortly after she moved to Charleston and the two immediately hit it off. Christine is the ultimate girl's girl and is always there to discuss anything from faith to fashion, music to memes, and so much more. Christine and Liz got engaged the same month and moved in with each other shortly after, which made the wedding planning time a little more special and fun as they got to do it together.
