Travel Note

Getting Around

Charleston is a very drivable city. Whether you bring your own car or rent a car, it is easy to get around and parking will be available at the venue. It is also very easy to get around using ride share apps like Lyft and Uber.

Travel Note

Airbnb and Hotels

There are a lot of great Airbnb options in the Charleston area. We would recommend the Park Circle area if you want to stay close to the venue. Mount Pleasant and West Ashley are other great neighborhood locations that are a little further but still accessible. Downtown Charleston is the best place to stay if you want to be closer to historic sights, plenty of food and drink options, and the after party action. Below are a list of some hotels we are recommending, but you cannot go wrong with any hotel option downtown. King Street is known for its shopping and nightlife, while the area near East Bay and Broad Street is quieter and more historic with great dining options. Please note that there are a lot of hotel options in North Charleston, but most of these are airport hotels that aren't in walkable areas.

Hotel

Moxy Charleston Downtown

547 Meeting Street, Charleston, SC 29403

Budget Friendly option on upper Meeting Street, just a quick drive to downtown.

Hotel

The Ryder Hotel

237 Meeting Street, Charleston, SC 29401

A newer, trendy option right in the heart of downtown Charleston. Walkable to some of the best spots in the city for sightseeing and dining.

Hotel

Starlight Motor Inn

3245 Rivers Ave, North Charleston, SC
 8438742843

A fun budget-friendly option closer to the venue with a jazzy speakeasy tucked away in the lobby. While this hotel is close to the venue, it is not in a walkable part of town and further from the action of the city.
