Brainard Lake Recreational Area
My favorite hike I’ve ever done in CO. Trails START at 10,000 ft, so challenging altitude-wise. Depending on snowfall this season, it might still be snowy on trails, but the roads will be cleared.
Estes Park
Best chance of seeing moose in June! Fun downtown to walk around. It’s the “gateway” to Rocky Mountain National Park, so you’ll drive through it to get there.
Denver Cat Company
Tennyson street in general is great for eating, drinking, and walking around. Go to the cat cafe and play with some kitties, then walk across the street to our favorite barbecue spot Post Oak, or our favorite Detroit style pizza restaurant Hops and Pie, OR our favorite local pie company Colorado Cherry Company!
