Hiking at 10,000 ft in the volcanic crater Haleakala "House of the Sun." This is a sacred site for Native Hawaiians, and acoustic experts have deemed the base the "quietest place on earth."

Red Sand Beach, Hana, Maui - the site of many historic battles fought against invaders of the islands. A cinder cone behind the beach, that's rich in iron and is the source of the beach's red sand.
