Our Story
Our friendship started in grad school in 2018 while teaching together. After countless hours of studying, teaching and grading lab reports, our friendship turned into something special.
Our relationship was heavily tested by a global pandemic, 2 prolonged stints of long distance and 5 moves in 5 years. Not only did this show us that we were meant for each other, but that we truly had the want to be together.
We got engaged in June of 2023 while camping in Moab, Utah overlooking the valleys of Dead Horse Point State Park. To say Sam was surprised would be an understatement!
Soon after we made our move to Oklahoma where we bought first home together and added a new member to our family - puppy Margot.
We chose to elope in the mountains of Colorado where we felt the most at home. Our small ceremony was heartfelt, intimate and exactly what we wanted.
We felt the love of our families and friends even though they were many miles away. We love and appreciate all of you.
