Marc first noticed Lacie in October 2024 at a church retreat—but it wasn’t until June 2025, at a young adults service, that they officially met through a mutual friend. From the start, Marc was very interested in getting to know Lacie…while she, on the other hand, took a little extra time to get there. After much back-and-forth (including Marc somehow tripping into the couch right next to Lacie at one of their first group hangouts, and Lacie quite literally walking away from Marc mid-conversation at church), their story began to unfold in the most unexpected yet sweet and memorable ways. By August 2025, they finally went on their first date, and by October that same year, they made it official. It didn’t take long for both of them to realize this was something special. With full hearts and growing certainty, they began sharing more of their relationship with their families, knowing it was leading somewhere serious. Fast forward to April 2026, after much prayer and discussion, Marc proposed at the Dallas Arboretum (after cleverly taking Lacie to get her nails done first) creating a moment that they will both cherish forever. And she said YES! Lacie fell in love with Marc’s tender, steady heart, while Marc admires Lacie’s strength and independence. Together, they’ve built a relationship rooted in faith, joy, and deep love for God and one another. They are so excited to begin this next chapter—serving the Lord side by side, traveling the world, and building a life together.
