Question

Are kids allowed at the wedding?

Answer

While we love everyone’s children, due to the capacity limit, we have chosen to limit the amount of kids able to attend. With that being said, If your child’s name is not prompted on the formal invitation, please refrain from bringing them to the event.

Question

What is the dress code for this event?

Answer

Semi-formal is the dress code for this event. While there is no specific colors that we expect you to wear, we would love it if you showed up in your favorite autumn colors. This includes yellows, reds, orange, green, etc. Of course, please refrain from wearing white!

Question

Can we bring a plus one?

Answer

Again, the same scenario as the children, due to the capacity limit we are refraining from plus ones unless otherwise prompted on your formal invitation or pre-approved by the bride and groom.

Question

What should we get the bride and groom?

Answer

While we would love for you’ll to purchase anything that you feel we need or want from our registry, our biggest wish is to get enough funds to secure a down payment on a home that we can call ours. There is an option on the registry to donate to a cash fund instead of purchasing an item off of the registry.

Question

Can we bring firearms to this event?

Answer

While we are advent carriers as well, our venue does not allow any kind of firearm in or near the premises. With that being said, please leave your firearms at home!

Question

Can we smoke at the venue?

Answer

Yes, you are allowed to smoke at the venue. Only in designated outside areas. This includes vaping as well. Please refrain from smoking or vaping inside the venue as it is now allowed. With that being said, please make sure that you properly dispose of your cigarette buds and do not just toss them on the ground for us or the venue owner to clean up.

Question

What will the weather be like?

Answer

Our wedding ceremony will be outside. With that being said it is going to be towards the end of September. The weather around this time is usually still unpredictable regarding it being very hot, or starting to get the fall chill in the air. A jacket would probably be a smart idea to have on deck just in case!

Question

Answer

When you finally get to the venue location, there is going to be someone directing you on where to park in the parking lot/grass area.

Question

Answer

The bride is typically always just a text away, if you ever have any questions, send her a text at 502-887-0078.

Question

What time should I arrive?

Answer

The ceremony will begin at 4:00pm sharp. To secure your seating, we would recommend getting to the venue around 3:15-3:30pm at the latest. Although, you are welcome to get to the venue as early as 2:00-2:30pm.

Question

Will there be a transfer to the reception?

Answer

No! Our ceremony and reception venues are steps away from each other, as soon as the ceremony is commenced, guests are welcomed to make their way inside the reception venue and find your seating!

Question

Will we be serving alcohol?

Answer

Yes! We will have a licensed bartender on site to regulate the alcohol consumption, and they will be carding everyone to make sure you are of age. Of course, they have the right to turn away anyone they believe has had to much to drink.

Question

Can I take pictures during the ceremony?

Answer

We are choosing to have an unplugged ceremony so that our photographer can get the best photo opportunities as possible without the risk of getting anyone’s telephones in the photos, and that is why we hired a photographer to capture our moments professionally.
