It’s finally happening!

We had gone to school together, always one grade apart. Sharing halls and classrooms, but never a single conversation. A few years later, that all changed. I had just started a new job at Sistersville Tank Works, where I learned Tucker was also employed. Still, we never really had much conversation. He was at the shop in Waverly, and I worked at the Sistersville location. Then one day Tucker decided to message me on Facebook and Snapchat, saying he thought I was cute and wanted to take me out to dinner. I said no (for many reasons) and went about my business. As fate would have it, a year later, we began messaging back and forth again, and he asked me to dinner. I turned him down again, saying I wanted to be friends and get to know each other a little more first. He was patient, and wouldn’t you know, the third time’s a charm. I finally let him take me to dinner at Longhorn Steakhouse, and went bowling after. On that date, I knew I couldn’t let this one get away. A couple more dates were had, and by July 21st, we began dating. Now it’s 2026, and Tucker and I are getting married! 1 Corinthians 13:4-7: "Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud... It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres."
