Forget farmers markets in the city! The Toowoomba Farmers Market is a real paddock to plate experience. Enjoy local produce, freshly baked goodies and an array of artisan products at our beautiful farmers market. There’s something for everyone to enjoy. If you're looking to sample local produce then the Toowoomba Farmers Market is worth a visit. Held each Saturday morning at Walton Stores it offers all things foodie, farm, country and community. Sample and buy produce and wares from local growers and artisans.

Street Art Tour

The streets throughout Toowoomba are filled with laneways – made more charming now by all of the street art covering the buildings’ walls. Toowoomba recently held the First Coat International Art Festival which resulted in many of the large scale murals now decorating the city completed by artists all across the globe. Take some time to stumble across all of the various murals which make the city more vibrant.

Table Top Mountain

Not for the faint hearted! If you’re up for a hike and some fresh country air , climb tabletop mountain for some spectacular views across the Lockyer Valley. The climb itself can be quite demanding with a lot of large steps and a scramble just before the summit. But the reward at the top, with a circuit all the way around, provides a spectacular vista. Alternatively, if you’d like a view but don’t feel like the hike, drive up to Prince Henry Heights and enjoy a picnic.

Groundup Espresso

Down a laneway straight-outta Melbourne, Ground Up Espresso took Toowoomba by storm when it first opened in 2013. It remains a favourite hot spot in town now due to its commitment to excellent coffee and food. The bar serves gourmet baked goods and offers a very good breakfast menu! Originally the space was an old storeroom that was completely restored over four months. Well worth a visit the morning after your wedding, if you’re in need of a little caffeine to put the pep back in your step!
