We are suggesting formal/semi-formal for the day. It's going to be a ceilidh-heavy wedding so prepare to dance!
The venue has asked for everyone to be seated by 13:45. If for any reason you need to leave or arrive late, we respectfully ask that you wait until the ceremony is over, as you will not be able to re-enter once it has begun. The doors will be closed at 13:45 for everyone except the bride and the father of the bride. We won’t have individual printed schedules available on the day, so please take a look at the schedule page on our website beforehand, it’s very detailed. Don’t worry too much though; there will be signage throughout the venue, and as everything is taking place in one location, you shouldn’t get too lost.
Please feel free to take as many pictures as you'd like around our big day. However, we will have a professional photographer on the day. We politely ask that you do not take pictures during: - The wedding ceremony - The cake cutting We want to look back at these two moments and see everyones face and not smart phones, thank you so much in advance.
We recommend arriving around 1 PM if you’re prompt. There’s plenty of space outside the venue to mingle and enjoy the sunshine before we get started.
If your children are listed on the invitation, we’d love for them to join us! That said, we completely understand if you'd prefer to celebrate without little ones, just let us know either way, and we’ll make sure to accommodate accordingly.
Parking near the venue is quite sparse, so we highly recommend using public transport or taxis. Nearby options: Subway stations: Partick and Kelvinhall - Train station: Partick
If your invitation includes a plus one (or more), then absolutely please bring them along (or inform us if they can't make it). If not, we kindly ask you to come solo. Who knows, maybe you’ll meet the love of your life at our wedding!
It is Scotland so who knows! It's an inside day without any traveling in between required. However, there is an outside area to socialise so maybe best to bring a jacket!
Yes, the venue has a 'Post Box' on the day that is secure for cards.
