Wedding Party!

Nick Lacey

Groom

Nick is so excited to be marrying Courtney Ann Smith. She has been a complete and utter blessing to his life. He is also excited to celebrate with all of his friends and family who have supported him through thick and thin along the way. From the very beginning Red Rocks was the only choice for this occasion and he cannot wait to start a new chapter of his life with his new beautiful bride by his side.

Courtney Smith

Bride

Courtney feels incredibly lucky to be marrying Nick and is so grateful to celebrate this special weekend with the people she loves most. Their story has been filled with adventure, laughter, live music, and countless unforgettable memories since the day they met. Courtney is beyond excited to spend the weekend celebrating with family and friends who have supported them along the way. Getting married at Red Rocks has always felt like a dream, and being able to begin this next chapter while bringing together two families filled with the sweetest people makes it even more meaningful. She is especially thankful to everyone who made the trip to Denver and can't wait to dance, celebrate, and make memories with everyone all weekend long.

Cordero Reyes

Best Man

Cord and Nick have been best friends since they were 12 years old when Nick pulled out his YuGiOh cards while Cord was riding his bike in their cul-de-sac. Once estranged they reconnected in 2021 as they were both starting a new phase of life and the bromance kicked off right where it left off.

Gina Valdes

Maid of Honor

Courtney and Gina met in 2018 at the Sheraton in downtown Austin and instantly connected while experiencing the excitement and challenges of moving to a new city. In November 2022, Gina invited Courtney to see Zhu at Red Rocks, unknowingly setting the stage for one of the most important moments of her life. It was there, in the middle of Red Rocks Amphitheatre, that Courtney met Nick. Through every adventure, concert, celebration, and life change, Gina has been a source of encouragement. Courtney is incredibly grateful for her friendship and for the unexpected role she played in bringing Courtney and Nick's story together.

O'Shea Brown

Groomsman

When Nick started his first career IT job in 2018 O'Shea was his team lead and welcomed him with open arms into the next phase of his adult life.

Brittany Reyes

Bridesmaid

Brittney and Courtney met through Nick's best man, Cord, and instantly connected over their similar journeys through life, from Dallas to Austin and eventually Denver, their paths seemed destined to cross. Their friendship grew effortlessly through weekend adventures, thrift store treasures, karaoke nights, and a shared love for animals. Through life's highs and lows, Brittney has become a true friend, bringing joy, laughter, and support to Courtney's life. Courtney cherishes the countless memories they've created together and is so grateful to have Brittney standing beside her as she celebrates this next chapter.

Joe O'Meara

Groomsman

Nick and Joe met at work in 2019 and quickly became friends due to their shared political philosophy and bizarre humor.

Kirsten O'Meara

Bridesmaid

Kirsten and Courtney met in 2022 through Nick and Joe and immediately formed a connection rooted in understanding, trust, and shared life experiences. Through heartfelt conversations, celebrations, and moments of support, Kirsten has become a cherished friend and an important part of Courtney's life. Whether they're enjoying sushi dinners, dancing at EDM shows, or simply spending time together, their friendship continues to grow stronger with each passing year. Courtney is incredibly thankful for Kirsten's love and friendship and is honored to have her standing by her side on such a special day.

Caleb Mau

Groomsman

When Nick moved to Denver he blindly accepted Caleb's sublease. Since then Caleb and Nick have had many adventures, deep talks, and laughs.

Matt Smith

Bridesman

Matt and Courtney met in 7th grade when they discovered they shared the same last name (for now) and had three classes together. From the very beginning, they bonded over their shared sense of humor, finding ways to goof off. Their friendship has stood the test of time, and no matter how long it's been since they've talked, they always reconnect as if not a single day has passed. Courtney feels incredibly lucky to have a friendship that has lasted so many years and is grateful to have to have Matt by her side on such an important day.

Jessica Garza

Mother of the Groom

Throughout Nick's entire life his mother has been a constant source of encouragement, guidance, laughter, and overwhelming love. There are too many words of wisdoms or memories to recount. Jessica has made it very clear that she is overjoyed to welcome Courtney into the Leos/Lacey/Garza familia.

Pamela Smith-Brown

Mother of the Bride

Courtney is incredibly grateful for her mom's constant love and support throughout her life. From shopping trips and Mexican food outings to friendly games of darts, some of Courtney's favorite memories have been made together. Her resilience, love for her family, and ability to overcome life's challenges with grace have been a guiding example throughout Courtney's life. She is thankful to have her mom's support as she and Nick begin their married life and celebrate surrounded by the people they love most.

Larry Lacey

Father of the Groom

Despite being separated by distance Nick and his father have kept in touch regularly since he left home in high school. If laughter comes from his mother, Nick's nerdiness and quirkiness come from his father. Larry is excited to welcome Courtney into the fold.

Rickey Smith

Father of the Bride

Courtney has always loved spending time with her dad, whether they're cheering on the Rangers or Cowboys, grabbing Whataburger, or watching musicals together. He has been a constant source of wisdom, encouragement, and support throughout her life. His strong faith, love for family, and unwavering belief in Courtney have shaped who she is today. She is incredibly thankful for his support as she and Nick begin this new chapter together.

Galvin Lacey

Brother of the Groom

Galvin and Nick used to fight over the Gamecube growing up but now constantly share their experiences in life. Being eight years apart and in different-yet-technical careers means they are just different enough to learn from each other but similar enough to always share a laugh.

Sam Lang

Officiant

Nick and Sam also met at work but he quickly became a close friend of the couple. They have shared many lovely dinners cooked by Sam and Alamo Drafthouse dates. Sam was the first and only choice for marrying Nick and Courtney.
