From breweries to coffee shops to shopping malls to simply strolling 4th Street, downtown Santa Rosa has something for everyone! We hope you enjoy exploring this area and meet us for welcome drinks on Friday on the rooftop at La Rosa too!
Just 15 minutes outside of Santa Rosa- Russian River Valley is known worldwide for its warm days and cool nights to produce amazing Pinot Noir and Chardonnay. Tom and I love Russian River Vineyards, we actually almost selected it for our wedding venue! One of our favorite things about this winery is that they also have a full kitchen and you can grab lunch while tasting wine!
Visit Russian River Brewing Company in downtown Santa Rosa to try some of their award-winning beers! It's a great spot to grab some lunch too, but it's popular so you can expect a wait!
Interested in hiking and getting a sneak peek at our wedding venue? Hood Mountain has many trails ranging in skill level and just so happens to be the gorgeous backdrop of St. Francis Winery & Vineyards! We recommend searching trails on AllTrails.com for the right fit.
This state park has over 40 miles of hiking trails and we recommend hikes in this area for folks seeking easy to moderate skill level hikes. Spring Lake is adjacent to this state park where there are opportunities for swimming and boating as well.
Late August is a perfect time to float the Russian River nearby to Santa Rosa! We recommend a float between Steelhead Beach and Sunset Beach. Don't forget to rent some tubes and bring some drinks!
