Hello!

Welcome to Lacey and Taylor's wedding! We are so happy and grateful you have been able to join us on our special day. This day has been in the making for a long time for both of us! We wanted to give you a little background of who we are and how we came to find each other. Taylor grew up just outside of Boston MA and aside from attending college in Idaho and serving an LDS mission in AZ, the east coast had always been home. After a while of working and living in Massachusetts Taylor moved out to Salt Lake City to pursue a new career opportunity. Close to 3 years after moving out to Utah, he met the real reason for his move out west and the love of his life, Lacey Magee. Lacey had originally moved out to Utah from Frederick Maryland in 2019 to further her dream of becoming a mental health therapist. Lacey received her master’s degree at UVU and had been going to school, working and living in the Salt Lake City area for about 5 years before meeting Taylor. A mutual friend helped set us up and our story began on June 28th, 2024 when we met and went on our first date! Of the date options that were offered to Lacey, she chose to have an offroad lake side picnic up in the Wasatch mountains. It was a beautiful evening and from the very get go, we both knew we were hooked and knew we had stumbled into something special. As fate would have it, Lacey was already in the process of moving down to St George, Utah (about 300 miles south of Salt Lake City) and we met just 2 weeks before she was scheduled to move! From that first date in June until now; it has been a whirlwind of back-and-forth travel, living out of suitcases and visiting each other's families to spend as much time with each other as possible. So many miraculous things have fallen into place for our relationship to grow into what it is today. Who would have thought that 2 people from different areas on the east coast would meet close to 2,000 miles from home and fall completely in love! We often say that our time together up to this point has been either "feast” or “famine” (long periods of time together, then long periods of time apart in between) depending on work schedules, travel, life or the general chaos of dating long distance (even though technically in the same state). That is what makes this day so special to us, it marks the end of lengthy goodbyes and the beginning of forever. We are so excited to have no more extended periods apart to delay our love from continuing to grow as a family. Thank you for coming out and supporting us on this deeply meaningful and special occasion. We hope you enjoy it as much as we do! (Written by Taylor)
