We are less than a month out from the big day and, in the wise words of Taylor Swift, "are we out of the woods yet?" Unfortunately not. With increasing COVID cases due to the Delta variant, we are asking our guests to do their best to keep all our loved ones safe. As you know, we have moved the wedding to our backyard in order to provide a fully outdoor event, and will continue to follow all COVID guidelines. * If you are vaccinated, we also strongly encourage you to be tested within 72 hours of the wedding. * If you are not vaccinated we are requiring you to be PCR tested, with a test date of 9/27 or later, and have negative results prior to the wedding. Please be mindful that results may take up to 72 hours and it is strongly encouraged that you socially distance in the interim between test and wedding. We will list local testing sites on the Travel page. Thank you for everything you are doing to keep each other safe. Can't wait to party with you!
We are so honored for you to be in our lives and hope you can join us on our wedding day. All the information you need is here and we ask that everyone RSVP's by September 1 using the link on this site. We are less than 6 months out so we recommend you start looking into travel arrangements and get ready to party!
Leif's Story Fountains can be found in parks, squares, plazas, private residences, small businesses, gardens, castles, and classy villas. They are often installed as decoration or used for recreation and entertainment. Our story isn’t about just any average spout or spray. The Fountain, located at the historic Courtyard Pub on Cape Cod at the crossroads of Route 28 and County Road in Cataumet is fabled to hold a special power. Legends have it on warm summer nights the calming draw of this particular cascading well has given providence to young souls in search of love. It’s at this fountain our lives changed forever... Lacey's Story After a day of partying with her friend's on Captain Cruise's boat, Lacey and her friends decided to hit the town. They had just survived a rapidly moving lightening storm so there was reason for celebration. After several mudslides at the Chartroom, they decide to up the ante and go on over to the Courtyard - they heard the fountain was flowing good that night and wanted to check it out. Soon after arriving at the Courtyard, a long haired man approached their table, cornered Lacey, and offered to buy them drinks. Lacey, never one to turn down a free drink, took him up on the offer. The pair went to the bar and started chatting about outdoorsy stuff. This was an attempt on Lacey's part to impress Leif by throwing around some jargon she learned at work and brag that she was training for a triathlon. The trick worked and Leif was hooked! Only took 2 margaritas and they were smooching by the fountain.
