We met working together at FedEx. He thought I was pretty. I thought he was handsome and nice. Unloading a truck together one night, we discovered we both liked to rock climb. He invited me to come hang in his gym. We spent that summer rollerblading, rock climbing, laughing, eating ice-cream and falling in love. It's only gotten sweeter since.
We had moved to Colorado seven days earlier. Josh wanted to go on a hike with a beautiful view and chose the trail, Emerald Lake in the epic Estes Park. It was a sunny, crisp spring day with white snow still covering the mountains and trail. After hiking 3 miles, crossing a frozen lake and with breathtaking views surrounding us, Josh got down on one knee - wearing shorts and bare skin on ice - I started ugly crying and said, "of course!" Our dear friend, Maggie there to capture the moment. We made our way back, slap happy and announcing to every passerby that we were getting married! At one point, we walked under a tunnel of hiking poles. Bedazzled and on cloud 9, we spent the rest of the day celebrating with friends.
