Question

1. What should I wear? Is there a dress code?

Answer

The dress code for our wedding is semi-formal/cocktail attire no white colors please. Ladies should wear cocktail dresses or anything flattery, and the gentlemen should wear a suit and tie or a sports coat.

2. Where are the ceremony and the reception taking place?

Answer

Luckily both our reception and ceremony will be held at one place. Both reception and ceremony will take place at The Oregon Golf Club in West Linn Oregon.

3. Will the ceremony and reception be indoors or outdoors?

Answer

The ceremony will take place outside and will only hold 200 guest, so please don't self invite additional guest without getting approval. The reception will be held indoors.

4. What happens after the ceremony?

Answer

After the ceremony, the bridal party will be taking pictures nearby for around an hour. Guests can head straight to the reception hall where we will be serving finger foods and beverages.

5. Does your wedding have a theme?

Answer

Our colors are dusty blue and white but you are not required to wear those colors. Just wear something nice and pretty.

6. Are there other wedding events I can attend?

Answer

We will be having a Hmong wedding a month before our American wedding. Please contact us for more information.

7. What should I do if I can’t make it?

Answer

You will be missed! If you can not make it to the wedding, please let us know as soon as possible and RSVP “no,” so we can plan accordingly. We will also be going live for family and friends who can't be present.

8. What time should I arrive?

Answer

We recommend that you arrive an hour before the start of the ceremony, to make sure everyone is on time and we can get the party started as scheduled!

9. Where should guests park? Is parking free?

Answer

The venue has lots of parking but carpool if you can and parking is free.

Question

10. Are kids welcome?

Answer

While we love your little ones, our wedding is going to be an adults-only event so that everyone can relax and enjoy the evening. We appreciate you making arrangements ahead of time and leaving the kids at home so you can celebrate with us.

11. Can I bring a date?

Answer

Our wedding is strictly RSVP only. We will only able to accommodate those listed on your invitation.

12. When is the RSVP deadline? Do I need to mail back my RSVP or can I do it online?

Answer

RSVP deadline will be January 30th 2021 and you can do so by mailing back your RSVP card or do it online.

13. Are the ceremony and reception location wheelchair accessible?

Answer

Yes! the venue is wheelchair accessible.

14. Will food and drinks be served at the reception? What kind of food?

Answer

Food and drinks will be served at the reception. We will let you know what will be serving once we finalize our menu with the venue.

15. Will there be any vegan/vegetarian/gluten free/special diet options?

Answer

If you have a special diet please let us know ahead of time so that we can arrange that for you.

16. Can I take and post pictures of the wedding on social media?

Answer

Yes, we encourage guests to post pictures on to their social media channels, our only request is that you tag each photo with our wedding hashtag #newlywedcheng&lacey2021 so we can keep track of all of your pictures!
