Aside from his handsome face, this was the line that let me know he had a sense of humor. If you didnt know, we met on a dating app called “Bumble”. Which is silly in its own right because I literally said in the past that I would never get on a dating app because I didnt want that to be my story... and here I am, literally typing into “my story” on our wedding page. So basically I responded with, “let me guess- ‘why is there a wall in the middle of the ocean?!’” (I knew the real answer). To which he responded, “No, its dam. But HOT DAMN in your case!” On our first date, similarities and serendipities, along with the reciting of “The True Gentelman” creed and I was ready for our second date. By our third lunch date, when I got to see his house, I saw the Bible on his bedside table, and I knew he was the one. I told some girlfriends of mine and said if we didnt get married, they shouldnt let me trust my instincts ever again. We were familiar strangers. And now we are romatic best friends. Doing life together. Its pretty great and I wouldnt have it any other way. Had I known this man was out there, I would have waited forever.
