Despite both starring in the middle school play, Aladdin, and walking the same halls of high school, our love story didn't start until later on! We went on our first date to Bartaco, where we shut down the restaurant, and we've never looked back.

AJ pulled off the most incredible surprise engagement in Warren, VT! What Lacey thought was going to be a relaxing weekend in VT with her sister (Rosie) and brother-in-law (Brock) turned into so much more. The day started by getting breakfast sandwiches at one of their favorite spots. AJ then took Lacey over to a watering hole and made a picnic. AJ had planned for the engagement to take place at Warren Falls, but of course that was under construction and closed the morning of their engagement so he had to pivot! There was a photographer about 100 ft away, who Lacey thought was just a stranger taking photos of the beautiful foliage. AJ called him over to take a pic of them, and within seconds he was down on a knee. They spent the rest of the afternoon walking around VT, exploring the Farmer's Market and then drove back to Winchester to celebrate with some of their closest family and friends.
