Dress Code: Formal Winter Elegance This is a formal winter celebration. We kindly request dark, sophisticated colors for attire. Ladies: Gowns and cocktail dresses are recommended. Our dark color palette ensures a cohesive and stylish atmosphere. LADIES, ABSOLUTELY NO WHITE OR VARIATIONS OF WHITE, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO CREAM, EGGSHELL, IVORY, ETC. WE KINDLY ASK THAT YOU STICK TO A DARK COLOR SCHEME, SO THESE RESTRICTED COLORS SHOULD NOT BE AN OPTION ANYWAY. Gentlemen: A tuxedo, suit, or button-down with a vest is preferred. A crisp white shirt pairs perfectly with tailored slacks. Come dressed to impress. Also, anyone who knows Africa knows he does not play about his sneakers. If you have any Holy Grails that you would like to show off, you're more than welcome to lace them up and bring them out!
All invited guests were hand-picked by us as people who have championed our relationship and supported us both as a couple and as individuals throughout this past 4 years. As we will be publicly committing our lives to each other, it is important to us that we share this time with our most intimate friends and family members, especially those who have made a point to develop a relationship with the both of us. Please assume only guests named on your invitation are welcome at the Ceremony/Dinner. No additional guests will be allowed prior to 9pm. No exceptions. If you do have a guest that you desire to join you, we have elected to open our reception at 9pm to anyone that wants to come celebrate with us. Your guest is more than welcome to join you after 9pm.
The doors will open at 6pm and the ceremony will begin promptly at 7pm. Please allow yourself time to park and locate your seat. The doors will close to guests once the ceremony begins.
