Located at the intersection of Barton Springs Pool and Lady Bird Lake, the park offers plenty of opportunity to unwind on the water. Landside, the park houses Zilker Botanical Garden, Austin Nature and Science Center, Umlauf Sculpture Gardens, and more. It’s the ultimate space for a day of recreation, and only two miles away from our accommodations. Zilker Metropolitan Park is open from 5 a.m. to 10 p.m. daily.

Don't forget to snap a picture in front of the famous "i love you so much" mural at Jo's Coffee! Sofia & David's favorite spots on South Congress are: Two Hands for brunch, Homeslice for pizza, Jo's Coffee for coffee, Tecovas & Allens Boots for cowboy boots & cowboy hats (with customizations!), Aba for lunch, thrift shops for shopping, and Jeni's for ice cream!
