At this time our venue only strongly recommends that you COVID test prior to the wedding. Alex and Caitlin will be testing prior, and please contact Eva LaMar should you have any concerns.
No, face masks are not required at this time, but could change per California and county guidelines. You may make your own choice as to whether on not to wear one, and we do request that all guests COVID test before attending the wedding.
As we know everyone has different comfort levels with exposure, I wanted to let everyone know the different seating throughout the event. The ceremony is outside with classic ceremony seating. The cocktail hour is indoor/outdoor and had standing or small seating cocktail tables. The reception is being held indoors at circular tables, with 8-10 per table. If you feel more comfortable being outside, please contact Caitlin and she will be more than happy to have a table set up on the patio.
The venue is in a neighborhood right off of Vista Way, which is right off the 78 freeway. The turn into the venue is on Valley Glenn Dr, between the Quality Inn and Indoor Skydiving.
Parking is available in front of the venue and on the street next to the venue.
There is no shuttle for this event. Please plan to get a rental car or Uber/Lyft should you be coming from out of town. From the parking lot the venue can be accessed by either stairs or ramp.
The ceremony is located on the patio outside. There will be signs, but the ceremony will be to your right as you enter. If you see chairs and a gazebo, you’re in the right place!
Though we know you are just as excited as we are, please do not come to the wedding before 3:30 pm PST. We want everything to be ready for your arrival so please be punctual, as the ceremony starts at 4 pm!
Please come in your best Dapper Day attire or your favorite Disney Bound character! Since it’s the day before Halloween, please feel free to show up in cosplay and costumes! The event is indoor/outdoor, and October can be pretty warm in San Diego, so plan outfits accordingly! It can also be pretty cold so I’d recommend sweaters as backups. Obviously, please do not wear traditionally bridal colors such as white, cream, eggshell, ivory, etc. Unless of course you’re coming in full Mary Poppins carousel cosplay, then I’ll allow it.
Though we love you all and your children, there is a very limited amount of space at the venue. Therefore, we have decided not to have children at the wedding unless they are apart of the wedding party. If you have a extenuating circumstance, please contact Caitlin. Thank you!
If you are unable to attend and would still like to send the bride and groom a card, please message Caitlin and she will gladly send you the address!
Though present are not required, Alex and Caitlin would greatly appreciate contributions to their honeymoon fund or gift cards for their honeymoon. If you prefer a physical gift, there are a couple needed items on the registry, but as they already live together they do have quite a bit of home items.
