We met at a restaurant, I was his server. He and his friends were my last table of the night. One of his friends, Jon, asked for my number and as the night went on, we laughed and even created some inside jokes. Caden said "Your number's probably safer with me." I agreed and gave him my number. The first thing I texted him was "You left your card here, dummy." We didn't start talking until a couple weeks later. From then on, we grew together through a lot of things, but I wouldn't want to spend my life with anyone else!

Because I (Caden) planned the whole proposal, I will tell the story. Hayley never had the chance to get to really know my Pawpaw, so when I got the idea in my head to propose to her I just had to find a way to include my Pawpaw in my proposal. Fortunate for me, I had just got a brand new rifle that i needed to sight in. With that in mind, I bought her a ring and had my bestfriend Austin hold on to it for me. I told Hayley that we were going to go up to Pawpaw's Deer Camp and go shoot our rifles a little, and just spend some time in the outdoors. When we got there, Austin and I shot our rifles a little, and then the three of us went for a ride around the property. I stopped us at one spot, and had Austin sneak the ring to me. I told Hayley that I would do a little photo shoot of her out there and had her turn around from me, and while she thought I was getting ready to take some pictures of her I knelt down to one knee and told her I was ready to spend the rest of my life with her.
