A visa is required for most travellers visiting or transiting through Bali. There are two options to get a visa: a) Apply online for an e-Visa before arriving in Bali; or b) Apply for a Visa on Arrival at the airport Important: A Visa on Arrival (VOA) is available to passport holders from 97 countries. You will need your address in Bali as well as your passport.

From 1st of September, you’ll need to complete the new arrival card for all international passengers arriving at Ngurah Rai International Airport in Bali within 72 hours (3 days) of your travel to Indonesia.

While most accomodation/hotels will have free wifi available to you, you may want to get an e-sim card to keep connected and get your internet fix while on the road. Before purchasing: 1. Check Your Device Compatibility 2. Purchase your e-sim 3. Activate your e-sim: Follow the instructions provided by the provider to activate your plan. If you don't already have a trusty provider, Laarni and Jarrod use Nomad for their travels.

Consider installing the following ride-shares GoJek or Grab, before travelling to Bali. Once there your accomodation can recommend a trustworthy local driver who will be able to tour you around the island for a fee. Alternatively, if you have your international driver's licence, you can choose to hire a vehicle and tour yourself!
