Two Hearts One Love

Shawn and I are childhood friends. We crushed on each other in middle school, dated as teenagers, but shortly after high school we went our seperate ways. 33yrs later, he contacted me via social media and wished me a Happy 49th Birthday. A week later, we met for dinner, caught up on life and reminisced about old times. Since the reconnection we have been pretty much inseparable and I haven't wanted it any other way. Every day I am reminded that we are deserving of each others love and second chances are really a thing.
