Doors will open at 3:45pm. The ceremony will begin promptly at 4:30pm

Kindly respond by February 10, 2025. Your prompt response is greatly appreciated, as it will help us finalize our arrangements. If we do not hear from you by this date, we will regrettably assume that you will not be able to join us. Thank you for your understanding.

What is the dress code?

In order to enhance the overall atmosphere and embrace the elegant ambiance of our chosen venue, we kindly request that all attendees adhere to an upscale cocktail attire dress code. This style perfectly complements the sophisticated and festive atmosphere we aim to create for our wedding day. We appreciate your understanding and look forward to sharing this joyous occasion with you in a setting that reflects both love and style.

Are kids welcome?

As much as we love your little ones, this will be an adults-only celebration. We hope this advance notice means you’re able to let your hair down and celebrate with us on the day.

Can I bring a plus one to the wedding?

Answer

Unfortunately, due to budget and space limitations, we regretfully ask our guests to refrain from bringing a plus one, unless they are specifically named on the invitation, or you've spoken to the bride or groom, and they've stated you are permitted to bring one. Thank you so much for understanding!

Can I post pictures/videos of the wedding (NOT the ceremony)?

Answer

Yes, we encourage guests to post pictures on to their social media. Our only request is that you tag each photo with our wedding hashtag #ADouglasLoveStory, so we can enjoy reflecting on all of your pictures/videos!

Yes, there are multiple parking lots within the vicinity of the venue, located in downtown Hickory.

What are the wedding colors? What colors should or shouldn't I wear?

Answer

Wedding Colors: Teal (Shades of Teal Green), Black, Gold and White We would love our guests to wear black, teal, or gold, however, you are free to wear any color, with the exception of white, ivory or beige.
