Is the wedding indoors or outdoors?

Answer

The ceremony and reception will both be held indoors at the Diwan Hall. During the break in between, feel free to wander around the Garden, take photos, and enjoy the space, as guests have access to the entire Garden!

What time should I arrive for the ceremony?

Answer

The ceremony starts at 2:45 PM. We recommend arriving by 2:15 PM to give yourself time for the short walk from the Garden’s parking lot to the Diwan Hall and to get settled before the ceremony begins.

What time should I arrive for the reception?

Answer

We recommend arriving between 6:00 PM and 6:15 PM, any earlier and we’ll still be getting everything ready! The bar opens at 6:00 PM, and dinner starts at 6:30 PM.

Is there parking at the University of Alberta Botanic Garden?

Answer

Free parking is available in the Garden’s main parking lots A and B, and in overflow parking lot C. While there isn’t golf cart shuttle service, the walk from the parking lots to the Diwan Hall is short and a lovely opportunity to enjoy the beautiful surroundings!

Can I bring a plus one?

We’ve kept our guest list to those named on the RSVP. If a plus one is included, it will be listed there. Thank you so much for understanding!

What is the dress code?

Answer

The dress code is formal attire. We can’t wait to celebrate with everyone looking their best!

Is there a wedding registry?

Answer

We don’t have a wedding registry. If you’d like to give a gift, a cash gift is most appreciated. Your presence at our wedding is the best gift of all!
