Check out the town where we moved into our first apartment and the surrounding areas - we hope you love it as much as we do! All recommendations are within 20 minutes of our venue.

When we lived in New Freedom, one of our favorite things to do was ride the train. Take a stroll through New Freedom and see 1860s replica steam locomotive No. 17 - or buy a ticket and ride for yourself!

Northern Central Railway

A classic Pennsylvania Amish market with handmade goods and delicious food. We recommend the pretzels and homemade lemonade/limeade!

The Markets at Shrewsbury

Our favorite place in New Freedom to grab a beer and watch football. It is within walking distance of the Northern Central Railway. We recommend the brick oven pizza, you won't regret it.

Kyrsten's favorite - coffee! The former Shrewsbury Savings Institution is now a great place for coffee or ice cream (or both)
