Our ceremony will take place on the private beach at the Bahia Resort, followed by a sunset reception aboard the historic William D. Evans sternwheeler. Attire is semi-formal beach wedding. Think elegance, breezy, classy, and timeless. Ideas to get you inspired: Think flowy dresses, light, breathable fabrics are perfect. Dressy sandals or wedges are recommended. Linen or lightweight suits, dress shirts with slacks, or a jacket. No ties required unless you prefer. Loafers or dress sandals are appropriate. Tips: Footwear: Sand-friendly shoes like wedges, flats, or dressy sandals are ideal. Avoid stilettos, heavy dress shoes, or sneakers. Layers: Bring a shawl, light blazer, or wrap for the cool ocean breeze during the evening cruise. Sun Protection: Sunglasses and hats are allowed but please remove during the ceremony. Colors: Black and White is discouraged. Please be mindful of intense prints and colors. Consider soft, ocean-inspired colors or timeless neutrals. We are recommending guests arrive at 4:00 PM. We kindly ask that guests be seated and settled before the start of the ceremony to ensure a smooth experience for all.
Yes! Parking is free and accessible throughout the event until we set sail for the evening at 9pm.
You are welcome to head out any time before the William D. Evans shoves off at 9pm. Everyone aboard the boat at that time will, need to stay aboard until the ship docks again at 11pm.
