We always had a running joke that we met at a library or at a grocery store. But the truth is... We met online. Facebook at that... Something for old people. So, I guess that makes us a little old (not really). Our first date was at New Beginnings at Mountain View Community Church in Duncanville. "I met his mom the first time I met him. They look alike." -Misan. "I was joyful seeing how happy she was to meet my people." -Kyron. If we could've married each other within the week of meeting, we would have. But we didn't. We waited... barely. Sometimes God has a calling that you can't ignore. We were quick to answer that phone call. Our journey moving forward was full of love, understanding, grace, and challenges we never expected to experience. With plenty of fasting and prayer, we made it through every season you could imagine. We felt a deeper calling not only for our relationship but also for our futures, which aligned firmly. With a passion for music ministry, young adults and teens, education, and lost souls, we knew we wanted to pursue these goals together. Our love and passion for each other only grew stronger when Kyron went to the Army. Limited conversations and letters that came once a week. Our bond was unbreakable because of the sleepless nights of praying for one another. We agreed in Spirit and Truth. Now, it's time for us to remove the long distance and celebrate becoming one with you. We can't wait!
