Kyrle and Kaitlyn met junior year at a party by what some may say was a twist of fate. After a few months of texting and one formatted paper of why Kaitlyn should take Kyrle to her junior prom, the couple started dating when they were still at Mercy and Loyola Blakefield. After high school, they were off to continue their lacrosse careers two hours apart. When Kyrle began physical therapy school, Kaitlyn decided to go back to school as they moved further apart to shape their future. During a trip in January 2025 to their happiest place, the Outer Banks, Kyrle proposed to which Kaitlyn said "Of course!". They are so excited to finally have started the rest of their lives together in Charlotte. The couple cannot wait to celebrate their story and journey with everyone on September 26, 2026 - it will truly be the best day ever!
