Hopefully you did so by August 31st or have by now. Our final count for food was due to the caterer 10/7.
We have gifts listed on here with Zola, and we linked items from both Target and Amazon. We welcome whatever gift you want to give, or not give as your presence is a gift in and of itself. So if you have something in mind for us and its not on our list thats great too.
By 2:30 or 2:45pm would be ideal as wedding starts at 3pm. Feel free to come earlier to walk around the arboretum grounds. Wedding guests get to park for free and can enjoy the space for a couple hours before and after the ceremony. They have their special fall exhibit up.
Fancy is great and semi-preferred but wear something nice and comfortable. Lots of gravel and grass at the ceremony location so keep that in mind when making your shoe choices.
Unfortunately, due to budget and space limitations, we simply can’t afford for all of our lovely guests to bring a guest of their own. We've even told many they can't bring their kids. Therefore, we regretfully ask our guests to please not bring a plus one, unless they are specifically named on the invitation. If your invite does not include a plus one and you think that is a mistake, feel free to reach out and check but we can't guarantee we will be able to accommodate your request. Thank you so much for understanding!
Unfortunately, due to budget and space limitations, we simply can’t afford for all of our lovely guests to be at every part of our day. The ceremony could hold less than our reception and our food portion of the reception could handle less people than the party portion. So it was how we were able to get to see more people and include more in our day.
We truly wish we could invite all our guests’ children to our wedding however we are only able to invite the children of our immediate families. If you absolutely need your kid(s) to come reach out and we’ll see if we can fit them but honestly we have hit our guest limits unless folks decline.
Not really! There’s so many in the area. Just find the closest ones to 56 Brewing. We won't have a shuttle so guests will need to get from Chaska (ceremony) to the NE Mpls (reception) on their own. Sorry!
Ample parking for the ceremony, including a parking lot close to the ceremony site. The parking lot close to the ceremony site is small and at most can fit 50 cars. Allow time to walk from the main parking lot if the closer one is full. Limited off street parking at 56 brewing but lots of street parking. Ubers, Lyft, and public transit can help get ya around the city.
Sadly no. We weren’t able to figure out a bus service in the budget
Friday night we are looking to do a low key rehearsal for those involved in the wedding with a pizza or take out dinner provided for those in the party post rehearsal at 56 brewing. Sunday would like to do a brunch but so far as of 10/6/24 no restaurants have responded to my request to reserve space for breakfast. Trying a few more.
The Arboretum does not allow smoking or vaping anywhere on their grounds so please do this this before you arrive or after you leave the ceremony or their staff may ask you to leave. 56 Brewing has a patio and plenty of outdoor space. Please be conscious of those around you as there may be other guests who are sensitive to smoke/strong scents. Best bet would be in the parking lot or off to the side of 56.
We have worked with our caterer to have a vegan entree and sides (if vegan please let them know when you come to the buffet line and they will dish you some tasty vegan curry for the entree). Everything will be labeled with allergen information. Most things are dairy free except the butter for the buns and the sauce for the pot roast. Most things are also gluten free
