wedding attire

Answer

We ask that you wear semi-formal attire, such as cocktail-length dresses, jumpsuits, dressy separates, or a suit and tie. Please note that the ceremony and reception will be taking place outdoors. Temperatures may be cooler given the time of year. Please dress accordingly. Ladies be mindful of heels, as the ceremony will take place in a grassy field. Guests are welcome to bring fun Halloween masks or spooky costumes to change into later in the evening!

is the entire event outdoors?

Answer

Yes, our ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception will be entirely outdoors. The ceremony will be taking place in a grassy field, while the cocktail hour and reception will be on a concrete patio covered entirely by a tent. Guests will have access to indoor restrooms. A fire pit and heaters will be set up for the reception later in the evening.

weather accommodations

Answer

While we cannot predict the exact forecast for our special day, the last few Octobers in Western Pennsylvania have been fairly mild. We will have a large framed tent set up in the event of rain, but please keep an eye on the weather closer to the day of. Please dress appropriately, choose the right footwear, and bring extra necessities such as a jacket or shawl if you are easily chilled.

parking

Answer

Our venue is a small, private family owned farm on a few acres of land. As such, parking is free and there is plenty of available space for vehicles. If planning to drink at the reception, please either have a designated driver or use a ride sharing service. We want everyone to have fun, but also be safe!

can I bring a plus one?

Due to space limitations and a desire to keep our day as intimate as possible, we can only accommodate those guests listed on your invitation. Thank you for your understanding.

Kindly reply by Sunday September 20th, 2026 using the RSVP tab at the top of this page. You will be able to respond for everyone in your party simply by typing in your name.

are kids welcome?

Answer

While we love your little ones, our wedding will be an adults-only event so that everyone can relax & enjoy the evening. We appreciate you making arrangements ahead of time & leaving the kids at home in order to celebrate with us.

is there a hotel block?

Answer

As only a very small number of our guests are from out of town, we have elected not to secure a hotel block at this time. Please see the Travel & Lodging tab at the top of this page for more detailed information on nearby hotels and airports. We recommend booking in advance to secure your preferred accommodations.

The drinks are on us, the hangover is on you! Gratuities for the bartender are welcome.

Answer

Should you wish to bring a gift to our wedding, there will be a gift table for your convenience. In lieu of a registry, we have created a Honeyfund to help finance our honeymoon. Please see the Registry tab above for more information.

what if I have food allergies?

Answer

Specific meal items will be labeled-gluten free to accommodate the bride. Please contact the Maid or Matron of Honor directly if you have any further questions about food safety or require specific accommodations.
