When should I RSVP by?

We’d love to know if you can make it (we hope you can!). Please RSVP through our website by Saturday, November 15, 2025.

Where is the ceremony and reception?

Answer

Our private ceremony and celebratory reception will both be held at the Vandiver Inn which is located at 301 South Union Avenue, Havre de Grace, MD, 21078.

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

Parking is available in the lot behind the Vandiver Inn. There is also plenty of street parking!

What time should I arrive?

Answer

For those invited to our private ceremony, please arrive by 3:15 PM. The ceremony will begin promptly at 3:30 PM. For our celebratory reception, please arrive for cocktail hour by 4:30 PM.

Is there a dress code?

Answer

Welcome Party – Dressy Casual Think polished but relaxed, something you’d wear to a nice dinner or festive gathering! Wedding – Formal Attire Preferred We kindly ask that guests dress in formal attire to help us celebrate in style! Think elegant and sophisticated. Gentlemen are encouraged to wear a suit and tie, while ladies can opt for a floor-length gown or formal cocktail dress (or even a nice pantsuit)! Block heels are recommended for the dance floor. All events will be held indoors.

Can I bring a date?

Oh la la! In order to keep our guest list on track, we are only able to accommodate those guests formally invited on your wedding invitation.

Are kids welcome?

Answer

To give all our guests the opportunity to celebrate without having to worry about little ones, we politely request no children. We love your kids but thought you might like a much deserved night off!

I have a food allergy or dietary restriction, can I make a special request?

Please contact Kyra as soon as possible so we can make sure the venue can accommodate a special food request.

Are there any other events that I should know about around the wedding?

Answer

Please see our Weekend Festivities page. Since the Vandiver Inn is located in a historical neighborhood with a noise ordinance, our reception must end at 9 PM. That means, AFTER PARTY! Our after party will be held at Coakley's Pub (https://coakleyspub.com/). Transportation will be provided to and from the after party. The last shuttle will be returning to the venue at 11:30 PM.
