It’s been more than five years. One of these days, I’m going to say no. But the thing about Kyra…? She makes it very hard to say anything BUT yes. From multiple Jonas Brothers concerts to bottomless mimosas to paint flinging, water fights and horrible fondant experiments. From shoving glitter in the cracks of the patio to hide our poor decisions to rallying around the State House to bring attention to educational issues, Kyra has been there. Her energy and enthusiasm has always been electric and so incredibly contagious. I count myself lucky to have met her and to have had the experiences I’ve had with her. But I know Spencer is even luckier because, while I get her as a friend and partner in crime, he gets her as a soulmate and someone to grow old with. And I couldn’t have picked anyone more perfect to give her up to.
