proverbs 18:22

On August 30, 2020 at All Nations House of Prayer Ministries is when I first laid eyes on him. I remember thinking who is this handsome chocolate man with dreads? He caught my attention, however I knew I wasn't strong enough spiritually to even think about a serious relationship with someone. On November 8th, 2020 God filled me with the beautiful gift of the Holy Ghost and the rest of that year and the next I went through spiritual tests and trials. Through it all Marvin saw the best in me and yearned to learn more about me as a person. He always made me feel supported and encouraged. In 2022 Marvin unexpectedly asked for my number, we spent days talking, sometimes even all night. Eventually after aknowledging God he knew that I was the wife God had for him. Then, wanting to do things the right way, he let our Pastor know he wanted to marry me. After he was granted permission from my parents we began to court each other. He has taken me to museums, concerts, restaurants,musicals, movies, wherever my heart has desired. He has always made sure I felt safe and loved and important and embraced my weirdness and my kindness. When we talk to each other it feels like it's just the two of us, even when we are surrounded by a sea of people. Everyday he tries to love me as Christ loved the church. Now we are embarking on the next part of our journey together and want to celebrate this union created by God. "Delight thyself also in the LORD; and he shall give thee the desires of thine heart. Commit thy way unto the LORD; Trust also in him; and he shall bring it to pass." Psalm 37: 4-5
