Kyra and Jordan met during their junior year of college through their mutual friend, Bre. At the time, Kyra was attending school in Minneapolis while Jordan was in La Crosse. One weekend, they joined friends in Minneapolis to celebrate Bre’s 22nd birthday—and that’s when it all began. In a moment of courage, Jordan told Kyra he thought she was cute, and the two quickly hit it off. As they got to know each other, they bonded over their shared love of cats and Harry Potter. For their first date, Jordan drove two and a half hours to Minneapolis just to watch Harry Potter with Kyra—a gesture that set the tone for everything that followed. Despite the 160 miles between them, Kyra and Jordan made long distance work even after graduating. On their third anniversary, Jordan asked Kyra to move in with him, and the following summer she packed up her life and moved to Waukesha. Since then, they’ve built a beautiful life together—traveling, adopting their two beloved kitties (pictured below), and creating a home filled with love.
