Glorioso's Italian Market
Family owned Italian grocery and deli with all the good stuff. Fresh made tiramisu, pasta, salads, sandwiches. Stop by for picnic supplies before you hit up a beer garden.

Live music Fridays and Saturdays starting at 9:00pm. Milwaukee dive bar vibes with an eclectic crowd of regulars and friendly bar staff.

A Milwaukee Institution. Stay til 2:00am and get your "I Closed Wolski's" Bumper Sticker. Kyra killed Jordan in darts here on our first date.

Super thin crust "Milwaukee Style" pizza with red checkered table cloth ambiance. A stop Deb & Jim make whenever they're in town.
Eagle Park Brewing Company
Some of the most interesting beer in the city. Solid bar food too.
Hacienda Beer Co. North Ave Taproom
More experimental beers. Bright, sunny tap room and sidewalk patio on North Ave. The food is fine. Don't get the nachos.
Tavolino | Wine + Pasta + Pizza
One of our favorite casual neighborhood Italian spots. Good pizza and pasta. Sidewalk patio.
Gee Willickers
Just the strangest and friendliest little dive bar. Snacks on the bar, carefully cultivated juke box, friendly folks.
Foundation
Considered one of the best Tiki Bars in the country. Dark, tiki vibes and great (strong) cocktails. Get the Mai Tai. There's also a tiki-themed Airbnb you can rent upstairs.
Estabrook Beer Garden
The first public Beer Garden established in the United States since prohibition! Get a giant pretzel (truly giant), a stein of beer, and listen to some polka.
Atwater Park
Kyra's favorite beach in the city. Beautiful view of the lake from the bluff.
Story Hill BKC
Small plates and shareable entrees. Affordable wine list. Neighborhood spot vibes.
Bavette La Boucherie
Run by a James Beard semi-finalist female butcher. The spot for charcuterie boards. Excellent sandwiches and a few consistently good entrees. Get the butterscotch pudding for dessert (a Kyra favorite).
Camino
Excellent bar food. Best cheese curds in Milwaukee. Consistently solid tap list.
The Noble
Cozy and charming spot in Walkers Point. Menu changes daily, check their Facebook page for what they're featuring. You can generally count on consistently great seafood and steaks.
The Yard
Best patio in the city, located at the Iron Horse Hotel.
Boone & Crockett
Perfect sunny day spot. Big patio overlooking Milwaukee harbor and the Hoan Bridge. Fancy cocktails, food trucks, and lots of hipply dressed people.
Allie Boy’s Bagelry & Luncheonette
Milwaukee generally has trash bagels. Allie Boys is the exception. Great bagel sandwiches.
La Merenda
All the small plates. Beautiful garden patio. Great sangria.
Ca’Lucchenzo
Incredible fresh pasta made daily. Outdoor garden seating in the summer.
Kopp's Frozen Custard
A must do while you're in town. Check the website for the custard flavors of the day. Burgers are the size of frisbees, so come hungry.
At Random
Classic cocktails and a focus on boozy ice cream drinks. The interior has not changed since the mid-70s.
