the adventure begins

We had our last class together sophomore year. We weren't fond of each other, but obviously that changed quickly! Kyra starting crushing on Jake, and asked Jake's roommate, Tristen for help. Tristen put in a good word for Kyra and shortly after that Jake invited Kyra over for a bonfire. The two hit it off and spent every second of that summer on the phone talking to one another. In the fall, close to volleyball and football season, the two made it official & NEVER LOOKED BACK!

Jake's family has a cabin at Swan Lake and ever since Jake was little he had always wanted to propose there. On May 29th everyone was headed to the cabin, just like every other weekend. Their friends had joined them for an awesome weekend on the lake, and we were all sitting around the fire. Jake had gone down to the water and shouted to Kyra that there was something he wanted to show her. Kyra, without a clue, followed him down to the water. They both looked at the sunset in awe, when Jake got down on one knee! With so many happy tears, smiles, and pictures, the couple had the best weekend of their lives...thus far!
