No, you do not have to attend the entire weekend we have planned beginning Thursday, June 9th and ending Monday, June 13th. Of course, we would prefer for everyone to stay as long as possible but we understand that you may have other obligations or preferred travel schedules.
We have a strict guest limit of 25 people (excluding children under 5 years of age) in accordance with our venue. We apologize for any inconvenience, but we are asking that our guests be respectful of our venue's capacity.
Children under 5 are welcome, however, as mentioned above we have a strict guest limit for older children and adults. We ask for you to make other arrangements for teenagers and older children if possible. If this presents an insurmountable obstacle, please reach out to us and we can figure something out!
We wish we could welcome all the furry friends! Unfortunately, dogs are not allowed at the venue due to the number of farm animals present.
No. We have reserved two amazingly beautiful farmhouses in Trout Lake, WA. For more information, please visit the Travel page. Once we receive final RSVPs, we can discuss accommodations in depth.
No! Of course, we hope you will want to join us but we understand that everyone has differing abilities and interests. For those that are not interested in rafting or hiking, we can provide a list of entertainment and sightseeing options nearby.
This wedding celebration is intended to be a mini vacation for everyone. We are eschewing a lot of the traditional wedding elements in favor of an event that feels truer to us and what we love. We hope this weekend will give us the chance to rejuvenate in the beauty of nature, enjoy one another's company, and feel more connected as two families joining together. The ceremony and reception are a small part of the entire weekend.
We were hopeful when we booked this venue back in September that we would not still be dealing with rising COVID cases nationwide. Unfortunately, as of January 2022, cases are higher than ever. We hope and pray that we are not hit with another variant and that cases reach a manageable level by June. That being said, we understand if anyone is not comfortable traveling or staying in adjacent lodging to other families.
Yes. Any guest that is eligible for a COVID vaccine must be vaccinated and preferably boosted prior to attending. Additionally, we will ask for folks to quarantine as best they can before traveling (meaning limiting social contact, going out, etc.) and taking a rapid test the day before departure. If you test positive or are experiencing symptoms, please stay home. We will understand.
