UPDATE!!! We have decided to postpone our wedding reception until we can safely, and legally, celebrate with all those we love! We will have a reception in Hillsboro, OR (same location) on AUGUST 13th, 2020! Our public legal ceremony and religious sealing will have to be canceled until further notice

We actually met more than 10 years ago! Our families have been friends for many years and Alex and my older brother, KJ, have been best friends for a long time. During our time at Utah our friendship grew but no romance bloomed until I returned home from serving a church service mission. On first sight in 2019 we knew we wanted to be together.

It was a Thursday when we decided to start dating and it was a Thursday when Alex, taking me completely by surprise in timing, got on one knee to propose. Try as he might my stubbornness won out and he was nearly forced to abandon his plan. Getting on one knee Alex asked me to spend the rest of my life with him to which I screamed "YES" despite wearing my pajamas.
