We both work for BCFD. 🚑🚒 If you let Rell tell it he knew from the first time he saw me that he would make me his wife. He was so confident that he told my brother," you know if I wasn't in my situation, your sister and I would be together." Let's be clear I wasn't checking for this man in no way shape or form at that time. We somehow up at the same station. He always says, "Your first day on the ambo, you walked in with your lil attitude. You gave a quick 👋 to the kitchen and kept it moving." He was right. I came there to do my job. What need did I have to stop and converse in that moment? Besides, little did we know we both were still healing from parts of life. Fast forward,I somehow broke down and gave this man my number, but our timing still wasn't right. He lost the number on purpose. He came to me honestly and asked for it again. I definitely respected his honesty. Me being me though... My response, "If it's in God's will you will receive it again, but no I won't give it to you right now." Yes, I know I was difficult 🤷🏽‍♀️🤣. I guess God was on his side, and am very thankful for that to this day. His birthday came and passed. I told him I owed him a drink and I would get it for him eventually. That day came on May 24, 2018. We had been texting all day. I clearly must have been feeling myself because I was talking BIG stuff through text message. I told him we could go out for drinks later that night. I tried backing out later that night & he wasn't having none of that. I told him I don't have a car right now and I live over West. Well he drove from East to West and picked me up. We went to Corinthians. We ate, drank, & talked until the bar closed. The conversations were raw and transparent. As the night came to an end, he drove me home & walked me to the door. In mid sentence, he had the nerve to kiss me 💋. In that moment I knew I had my last first kiss. The rest is history. That moment and so much more, led us to be here today.👰🏾🤵🏽❤

2020 was supposed to be the year of it all or so we thought. However, COVID had other plans. I told Rell I still wanted to make the best of it though. So we planned on having a slight kickback for my 30th. 30 Fabulous & Thriving was going down! My best friends know I'm annoying when it comes to my birthday, but everyone was on board. 🤣💚 Little did I know that other plans were in the works. June 27th 2020 it all went down!Decorations were poppin. Food was cooking. Makeup was done. Hair and outfit on point. Family & Friends rollin in. I even got my Baby a "My heart Belongs to A crazy June Girl" shirt.🤣 Now what does he go and do? He rolls out the red carpet and V.I.P section. My besties kidnapped my phone and blind folded me. I legit was completely blind sided in the best way possible. Sitting in V.IP heart racing wondering what was going on. I was led still blind folded to the middle of the red carpet. I heard family & friends on both sides of me. Que NeYo- "I just wanna be a good man... " Blind fold came off & I was presented with the perfect combination of roses & lily's. In the center was a note- "Will you marry me?" Everyone is yelling now turn around... by now tears are streaming down my face. I turn around to find my Baby down on one knee. "Baby Will you be my wife?" 💍 Me: Yes!! Yess!! A THOUSAND TIMES YESSS!" We now invite you to join us on our journey to Oliver Ever After. ❤
