Is the wedding and reception at the same place?

Answer

Yes! All wedding day activities are at the Walden. Even the After Party at Midwest Coast Brewery is in the same building!!!

Do we need a rental car?

Answer

No. The easiest, and (depending on time of day) fastest, way to get to the city from either airport is the El (what we call our subway/train system.) The airports are the last stations on their respective El lines so you don't even need to worry about going the wrong way. Parking can be difficult and expensive in the city so an Uber is a less stressful and often cheaper way to get anywhere you would want to go throughout the weekend. If you are going to the golf outing, we will help organize carpools for out of towners.

Is there parking at the wedding venue?

Answer

We really encourage everyone to Uber to the venue so we don't have to worry about anyone driving home after parting with us all night. But if you have to drive, there is free parking in the lot immediately west of the Walden.

Is the wedding outside?

Answer

All wedding day activities are inside with lots of A/C and no grass to sink your high heel into!

Is the venue accessible?

Answer

Yes, the Walden is accessible. The wedding ceremony will be on the second floor but there is an elevator for anyone who cannot or just does not want to take the stairs.
