Our First Beginning: Kylie came to Nashville to apartment hunt in April 2022. During the weekend, Kylie's friend who already lived in Nasvhille was hyping up her friend, Ben, saying we would really get along and should meet even to just to be friends. The first night, Ben is a no show. The second night, Ben shows up to the bar...on a date with another girl (their one and only date;). Out of respect, Ben doesn't talk to Kylie that night. Kylie assumes they will just be friendly in social settings once she moves to Nashville. Our Second Beginning: Fast forward to August 2022, 3 weeks after Kylie moved to Nasvhille, she goes out one night with her friend. When they arrive at the bar to meet up with some other friends, low and behold Ben is there too. Kylie gives him a hug and says "it's great to see you again" and goes about her night. As the night goes on, Kylie being the light weight she is, decides to Irish Exit and call an Uber home. As she's waiting for her ride, Ben runs out of the bar to stop her. He offers to get her a glass of water and sit in the back section of the bar to talk. After a couple hours of chatting, Ben gets Kylie's number and asks her to the Red Hot Chili Peppers concert the next Friday. That first date on August 12, 2022 was a special one. While Ben probably would have liked to listen to the concert, we ended up talking the whole entire night. From then on out, we have been each other's best friend, biggest supporter, shoulder to lean on, and greatest love we could have ever hoped for each and every day. Ben proposed to Kylie on October 11, 2024 at Southall Farm & Inn, the resort we spent our first anniversary at the year prior just south of Nashville. We had the most beautiful weekend in our secret bubble before sharing the best news with our loved ones. We are eager to start our married lives together and can't wait to celebrate with you all!
