After talking for a while on the phone through long distance, Will and Kylie decided to meet up at Hershey Park for a fun day of rides and sweet treats. Little did they know when they met at the carousel this date would be the start of a yearly tradition. Now every year, Will and Kylie go back to relive all of the fun memories!

Will and I always loved going to his family's house in Easton, Maryland for the summer. Labor day weekend was going to be the last weekend of the summer before it started getting cold out and I knew it was the perfect time to head out to the house. I wanted to invite some friends over, but it appeared they all had different plans in mind, including Will. It ended up only being Will and I heading to the house to enjoy the weekend because everyone told me they were "busy." Or so I thought. As the weekend progressed, Will had set up a dinner for Saturday night at a nice Italian restaurant at 7pm. It was nothing out of the ordinary just a normal date night. At dinner as soon as our food had arrived, Will had left me at the table to go to the bathroom. Which I didn’t think was suspicious until he was there for 15 minutes! Then I started thinking that was out of the ordinary? Apparently he was on the phone making plans and phone calls to ensure everything he had planned was going smoothly. After dinner we decided to go and get some ice cream and walk around the town ( I guess to stall a little bit) and I definitely couldn't eat any of my ice cream after all of the Italian food. After walking around for a bit, we decide to head home! When we got back, we somehow decided to walk around back and I said “okay to look at the stars”! Then I proceeded to say “what about my ice cream.” How stupid was I to worry about my ice cream in a time like this!

When we got to the back of the house - everything was lit up in the backyard like a dream. There were tiki torches and candles galore. There was music playing but I didn’t know where it was coming from. I felt like I was walking into the floating lantern scene from the Disney movie Tangled. It was pure magic. I couldn’t believe what I saw, and it was so much to take in. From that moment, I set my purse and yes my ice cream on the ground and proceeded to walk down the pathway of the tiki torches, candles, and signs full of memories and pictures of both of us. It was just us in this perfect moment and if I could I would relive it a million times over. We walked down the path to each post that had pictures picked out for each theme, our Travels, Friendships, memories together, memories with family, etc. Each picture he had thoughtfully picked out on the sticks that my grandfather had built and my dad had painted. At the end of the path, we reached the dock and this is where Will got down on one knee and asked me to be spend forever with him! I obviously said yes and moments later all of our friends came out from the bushes and congratulated us! I soon learned they helped Will set up the proposal.
