We’re getting married!

We met each other on Match.com and talked for a few weeks. We got to know each other and then planned to have our first date. We were supposed to have our first date on a Saturday in August 2017 but the Thursday night before that we both decided we wanted to meet up before then! So Friday night after work I met up with him at Waldo Pizza and you would have thought we had been together for years. We still went on our original date the next night and ever since that weekend the rest is history!

Fast forward to September 9, 2018. A day which I thought was going to consist of brunch with my best friend Megan and her boyfriend and then continue to our "couple's photo session". We went to Loose Park to meet with our photographer and went on our way. We took like 3 couple pictures and Tyler randomly went to a bench and I took some pictures with Megan. He eventually called me over and told me to watch a video and he needed to go to the bathroom. He turned the video on and I instantly started crying because I knew exactly what was happening (I'd been slightly expecting it to happen at some point for a couple weeks). After making it through a video of a few of my best friends and my mom asking him questions about our relationship and marriage he told me to turn around. When I turned around I saw Tyler, as well as all my best friends, family and his family. He pulled me over to beside the pond at Loose Park and popped the question! He put so much thought and effort into his proposal it was absolutely perfect! We cannot wait to start this journey of marriage and begin our family. We are excited you get to share in our special day with us!
