Why is there a time frame where guest can’t arrive

Answer

Our reception and ceremony venues are situated very close to the parking area, which means arriving guests could potentially be seen or heard during our most intimate moments. We kindly request that guests respect our desire for an uninterrupted, special time during our wedding ceremony.

Where can I put cards for the couple?

Answer

A card box will be available at the entrance near the vintage pickup truck, where guests can place their thoughtful cards and well-wishes for the couple.

Can I pet the farm animals and pick my own flowers?

Answer

We kindly ask that guests respect the working farm environment. While we have a beautiful variety of animals—including chickens, goats, and a llama—they are not meant for petting or interaction. The flower garden is located in the back of the property, and we welcome guests to admire it from the designated grassy areas surrounding the garden. For everyone's safety and the well-being of the animals and plants, we appreciate your understanding and cooperation.

Our dress code embraces a relaxed western/country style. Feel free to wear your favorite Sunday best—clean jeans are welcome, paired with cowboy boots and hats if you'd like. Sun dresses and country-inspired attire are perfect for our celebration. Wedding colors are sage green, terracotta, fern green and creme.

What is the weather like in colorado?

Colorado's weather can be unpredictable, with conditions shifting rapidly throughout the day. We recommend coming prepared for various possibilities. Our wedding will primarily take place outdoors during the summer, where temperatures can be quite warm. For guest comfort, we'll have a barn with fans available, and plenty of shaded areas. We kindly ask that you bring sunscreen and dress appropriately for sunny conditions.

Cash bar or open bar?

We're delighted to host an open bar for our guests. While we're covering the drinks, we kindly ask that you show appreciation for the bartenders by leaving a tip and enjoying responsibly.

What is the parking like?

Answer

Parking is limited, so we kindly request that guests carpool whenever possible. For those with handicap parking requirements, please reach out to Kylie or Riley directly. A parking attendant will be on-site to guide guests and assist with parking arrangements.

Is there ride share, uber or lift?

Answer

No, the venue is in a very small mountain town, you may be able to get a uber or lift to the venue but no guarantees you are able to get one later in the night in the area. Please be responsible and think about how you are getting home after the wedding.

Answer

While Lyons, CO is a small town with limited lodging options, we recommend our out-of-town guests explore accommodations in nearby cities. Loveland, Boulder, and Longmont—each just 20-30 minutes from our venue—offer a wide range of hotels, motels, and Airbnb options to suit every preference and budget. Though you may find an occasional cabin or motel within Lyons, your best bet is to book accommodations in these surrounding communities.

Our venue offers two convenient restroom facilities. One is located inside the main barn, and the other is situated near the main parking lot by the vintage airstream. Both bathrooms are fully equipped with toilets and sinks to ensure your comfort throughout the event.

Can I smoke on the venue property?

Answer

Smoking is permitted in designated areas of our venue, including near the fire pits. Given Colorado's heightened fire risk, we kindly ask all guests to extinguish smoking materials completely and responsibly to ensure everyone's safety.

Answer

Our venue maintains a strict no-plastic policy. If you wish to bring your own water, please use stainless steel or other non-plastic containers. Rest assured, we will provide a variety of beverage options, including ample water throughout the event.
