The Beginning

Patrick and Kylie's love story began at Indiana University, first meeting as neighbors their sophomore year and quickly becoming close friends. They soon became inseparable and by the start of junior year in 2018, their friendship had turned to love. They had each other to lean on while navigating through senior year, made the best of long distance after graduation, and finally got to continue their love story in Chicago when Kylie moved in 2021. In 2023, Patrick was offered an opportunity to work in London, and when he asked Kylie to move overseas with him she didn’t hesitate for a second. They made their first home together in a cozy flat in South Kensington, and over the next two years traveled all across Europe. Patrick, who had grown up traveling the world with his family, showed Kylie - once a self-proclaimed homebody- just how beautiful and exciting it could be. From Barcelona to Paris, Rome to Copenhagen, they discovered how much they enjoy just simply being together no matter the adventure.

The Proposal

On December 28, 2024—Kylie’s 27th birthday—Patrick got down on one knee on Delray Beach, Florida and proposed. After being abroad for over a year and a half, he knew they would want to share this moment with both of their families. Patrick planned the perfect day, and the celebration continued that evening at Kylie's favorite restaurant in Delray, Elisabetta's. Choosing their wedding venue came naturally, they will be celebrating at Patrick’s family home on the water. The same backyard where his two sisters and brother were married and where Patrick and Kylie lived after returning from London. Evanston is now a place that feels just as much like home to Kylie as it does to Patrick, making it the perfect place to celebrate their love story.
