Tracy and Kylie met in high school. We worked together at a grocery store, where Tracy met her husband! Tracy was always by Kylie's side when she was getting into trouble in high school and yet Tracy was never grounded as much as I was... what the heck! Tracy road tripped with Kylie to LA on her move out West - we even stopped by Omaha to say hi to Heidi! We bonded over our love of Tenacious D, but now our friendship looks more like texting photos of babies in our families to each other.

Chris (Kuj) and I met at Rice where we bonded over running the Outer Loop a few times a week and walking to the bank every payday so we could deposit our checks by hand. For some reason we were VERY suspicious of direct deposit. He took me on my first ski trip and I took him to his first dive bar in Juarez so clearly, we're going to be friends for life.
Heidi Voelker

Heidi and Kylie met in high school, too! While Kylie was definitely not getting in trouble by herself as a teenager, Heidi managed to be the responsible one and also never got in trouble... ok now I'm seeing a theme here. She also had the best apartment in college and Kylie took total advantage of dropping by on the weekends. Heidi is secretly one of the funniest people she knows and is an incredibly loyal friend.

Perry and I were destined to meet because Comedy Central and the world needed the next great sketch show! I guess that's why I moved to LA. To cash in on all the hilarious ideas we've come up with since college. In addition to funny #content, Perry and I also invented the "Goldfish Bong" (patent pending) with just a slinky and a belief that there had to be a better way to eat orange, fish-shaped crackers.

Cassie and Kylie met in college in our sorority. We lived together in the sorority house junior year of college and again in another house senior year of college. Cassie came to Mexico City with Kylie and Omar last year and spent her birthday with drinking beer and eating tacos with Omar's family and I would guess she gave that birthday a 10/10 rating.

Jason and Kylie met working at the same production company in LA. Their love for being better at their jobs than everyone else in the office as well as taking long lunch breaks brought them together. Jason consistently makes Kylie laugh, even when he is peer pressuring her to do something she doesn't want to do.
Kara Taylor

Kara is Kylie's oldest friend - we met in kindergarten. We're basically sisters! Kylie grew up in the Taylor household and is happy to say she's stuck with me for life.
Phil Szajda

Phil and I were suitemates our freshman year at Rice and supported each other through four grueling years of engineering classes. I think he took a liking to me because one post-Easter Monday he woke me up by splashing water in my face and yelling "Smingus Dyngus!" and I didn't even get mad. He now lives in Orange County which is great because I can give him a 20 min heads up before showing up at his place while driving back from San Diego and much like me with the water splash, he ain't mad at it.

Alec is also an engineer friend from Rice who is helping write The Show for Comedy Central with me and Perry. My trusted scribe, I could always rely on seeing the green dot of availability next to his name on G Chat. Thankfully, he found a way to both manage risk at work while also humoring me and reading my dumb joke ideas.
Crystal Nava

Crystal met Kylie when Omar brought her home to El Paso for the first time many years ago. Crystal's sense of humor and deep love for proper grammar - as well as correcting everyone's grammar - are just a few of many things Kylie loves about her.
Marco Nava

I met Marco when I was a few minutes old. I think. Maybe hours. In any case, we've had our share of fights and adventures. One of my favorite memories from our childhood was going out on July 5th to collect any fireworks that didn't explode. It was mostly black cats but every now and then we'd hit gold with a jumping jack or a roman candle. He's been in S Korea for a few years now but will soon move back stateside and I couldn't be happier because now I can visit his kids more often than once every two years.
Amy Nava

Kylie also met Amy for the first time when Omar brought her home to El Paso. In the gentlest intervention in human history, Amy and Crystal initiated Kylie into the Nava wives club while doing dishes after Thanksgiving dinner. Kylie can't wait to make it official!
Joaquin Nava

Joaquin's a lot like Marco in that he's my brother. Aside from that though, they're quite different. He didn't pick on me as much though because the 5 year age gap made it a completely unfair fight. I did get him good once though when I slapped his back and left my hand print. Lucky for him our Tita chased me away before I could do anymore damage. Unlike Marco, Joaquin is moving to S Korea so now he can expect to see me once every two years.
Yanina Nava

Kylie met Yanina at their cousin Alex's wedding in Dallas, just a few months after Omar and Kylie started dating. We've traveled with Yanina plenty of times - from visits to LA, to herding a bunch of children to South Korea. Kylie's favorite memory is exploring Chichen Itza and jumping into a cenote together in Mexico!
Chris Rader

I promise this is the last Rice engineer on the list. And he's a big one. We literally couldn't have graduated without Chris (Rader)'s help. Even while dying from mononucleosis, he was able to dig deep and find the strength to figure out our computational and applied mathematics homework despite our incessant complaints about him being "lazy." He also holds a majority stake in the Goldfish Bong (patent pending) as his venture capital (goldfish) is what funded our experiments.
Kelly Hodges

Kelly has been Kylie's sister in law for nearly her entire adult life(!). Occasionally, people confuse us to be blood-related and Kelly has always been a real champ about it. Kelly used to write Kylie letters while Kylie was on the road in the Wienermobile, and I still have them to this day! She's also a phenomenal baker. (Do you think she'll bake us a wedding cake if I compliment her baking skills in this bio?)
Justin Hodges

The first time I (Omar) met Justin, I gave him a hug which I'm pretty sure he blamed on alcohol. Fast forward to today and I'm pretty sure he's realized that I will never not hug him. Affectionately known as The Candy Man, he supplies me with 80% dark chocolate as long as I supply him with Settlers of Catan game nights. On his next visit to LA, he can count on me to distract his daughters with the Dino Dance while he saves his energy for more "pressing" matters... shopping for vinyl records at Amoeba Music (see what I did there?)
