Acadia National Park

Check out this historic site which features one of the best-preserved examples of coastal defense fortifications constructed in the mid-1800's. While there, head up the penobscot narrows bridge observatory, which is the tallest bridge observatory open to the public in the world. The observatory offers breathtaking 360-degree views of the Penobscot Bay area.
