We met in November of 2021, when Kylie was in grad school in Milwaukee and Max had just moved back home from his summer in Cape Cod. We bonded over mutual experiences at UW Oshkosh, Bucks games, holiday movies, and $5 old fashioneds at Camp Bar. We were so smitten over each other and the way we laughed together nonstop. It wasn't long before Max popped the 'Will you be my girlfriend?' question on January 29th, 2022. Our relationship has been filled with all our favorite things: Laughing, lakefront picnics, Summerfest, weekends up north, golfing, good coffee, vacations from the East Coast to the West, Packer/Bucks games, and our sweet puppy Breezy. Did we mention laughing?

On October 25th, 2024, Kylie thought we were getting together with some of our friends in Milwaukee, when they pretended to run late and Max suggested we kill time at Veteran's Park, our favorite lakefront spot. It was at the lake, with flowers and champagne set up, that the real plan unveiled itself and Max popped the big question!
